Chez Moi focuses on developing artists from Europe, especially France, who express themselves through melodic electronic sounds. Chez Moi is based out of Cambridge, MA and was founded by Alexandra R., a French expatriate, indie-electronic-rock aficionada and an active member of the Boston independent music scene. She produces 'Melody du Jour', a weekly radio show on WZBC-Newton (90.3FM), Fridays 7-10am. She is also the host of 'Ointment - Your Fix for New Music', a Boston monthly staple for new music (WZBC Top 20 countdown). 'Over the last few years, music has filled my life with so much passion, intensity, and truly exciting moments that I became naturally committed to doing more with it. There is so much great music from France that just never gets the attention it deserves in the US. I thus decided to act as an ambassador of French melodic sounds in North America'. |
